NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Town of Waterville Council in the council chambers located at 104 East Locust Street, Monday, May 16, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. The hearing will be available online via Zoom:

The purpose of the public hearing is to review the community development needs for a wastewater facility treatment facility project, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activity, particularly from lower income persons residing in the Waterville area.
Up to $1,000,000 may be available to the Town of Waterville on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons.
An outline of the proposed project will be available for review at the Waterville Town Hall at 104 East Locust Street or on the Town of Waterville website at www.watervillewa.com on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town of Waterville by Monday, May 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
